Today was hat day as we read The Cat in the Hat books. It was also drop everything and write. I read some great stories written by our first grade authors!

Today was wear red day. We graphed goldfish and wrote comparison sentences.
We read more Dr. Seuss books. We also learned about Dr.Seuss and explored his books to look for common traits such as U shaped pupils, Wacky machines, furry characters with big bellies, rhyming words and made up words.
Some of our friends presented at the I love to Read assembly. Great job!
