Grinch day and holiday celebrations

We celebrated the holidays by having a Grinch day, making special gifts for our families and even getting to open gifts.

We read a fun book called Sneezy the Snowman. Then we used puffy glue paint to make melted snowmen art. We made a yummy snowman snack.

In the afternoon, the whole first grade went downtown to go caroling. We enjoyed some hot cocoa at Snaps too! 

Big partner holiday bingo & pancakes

We enjoyed playing a holiday version of BINGO with our big partners. We won prizes too - a holiday pencil. 

We have been learning about holiday traditions. We read about a family having pancakes for breakfast. We had some pancakes for afternoon snack.

Today we used iPads to learn how to code. We learned how to make a robot move and light up a lightbulb in the app Lightbot.
